CHAPTER ONE

INTRODUCTION

As the growing population of the human race widens the gap between supply and demand of energy, the imbalance in the availability of energy sent researchers into discovering a means of settling this long dispute age. A lasting solution is invested in an alternative use of the renewable energy source, a project that is yet to be widely applied. Therefore, the continued instability aches for sufficient power. Thus, power lines are often loaded resulting in a trip by the action of power switching devices or the load shading process undertaken by distribution authorities. Since it is clear that some institutions such as related health facilities and some other sensitive systems should not be allowed to suffer equally with their counterparts, automatic phase selector is used to support the energy consumption in the travel time of phase. The design of this system involves the use of automatic switches, but the details of the design varies from place to place, time to time and also depends on the type of load involved. This project involves using transistors driven relay affect the phase change whenever the voltage state becomes intolerable in the previous stage connected.
